About

This year, Queer Festival Heidelberg is opening its call for its annual exhibition to submissions from all over Europe. Queer Festival Heidelberg is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 in Heidelberg, Germany. It is Germany's first ever queer festival. Professional and amateur photographers born or living in Europe are invited to submit a solo or group project. Projects may contain 5-10 photos and must have the contest's title "Queer Identities in Europe" as a central theme. The photos must creatively display facets of what being queer in Europe can mean. Judging criteria are originality, composition, expression of theme and personal expression. The winners' projects will be shown during this year's Queer Festival Heidelberg in may 2019.

Juror information

The jury is a diverse queer team of photographers, artists and people engaged in the cultural sector.
