About

The PORTRAITS - Hellerau Photography Award celebrates its fifth birthday in 2020. In the big annual exhibition, the works of all finalists will be shown; numerous solo exhibitions by other contestants, a large solo show by the current artist in residence, Mary Gelman (RUS), and numerous public events complete the competition program. The winners will be announced at the vernissage in February 2020 (1st prize: 5,000 EUR, 2nd prize: 2,000 EUR, 3rd prize: 1,000 EUR, residency prize: a scholarship in HELLERAU - European Center for the Arts).
