By entering you have the chance to win the Landskrona Foto & Breadfield Dummy Award 2022.

What winners receive

Landskrona Foto Dummy Award enables the winner to have his or her book project published by Breadfield Press and Landskrona Foto during 2023. The prize includes all expenses for book production such as design, printing and distribution. The photographer will also receive a large number of books to dispose over and sell. The winner will be invited to Landskrona Foto Festival during the festival opening weekend 2-4 September 2022 to receive the award.

The event costs 30 Euro to enter. Send a completed application together with your dummy in PDF format (maximum 100 mb) before May 22, 2022.

About Landskrona Foto

Landskrona Foto is the collective name for a center for the photographic image that spans areas such as exhibitions, events, photo history, photo books, residency, research, and collections. The most important element, the one we call ‘The highlight of Photography’ is our festival where the love of photography, dedication, and commitment to Landskrona as the meeting place of photography reaches its crescendo. The festival has become an important meeting place for photography professionals with a portfolio review, dummy award, workshops, photobook days, a large number of exhibitions, artist talks, seminar and much more.

How to enter

There is no need to send us a physical copy of your photobook dummy, we only accept pdfs (maximum 100 mb). Enter your unpublished, self-published, digitally published or produced by print-on-demand, e.g. blurb. photobook pdf.

Juror information

Tommaso Parrillo (1989) studied photography at Fine Arts Academy in Naples. In 2012 found the publishing house Witty Books and in 2015 is co-founder of Jest, an exhibition space about photography. Currently live in Turin and work as publisher, teacher, and curator.

Nela Eggenberger studied Art History at the University of Vienna (Austria). Since 2013 she has been Chief Editor of EIKON -- International Magazine for Photography and Media Art, a quality international quarterly established in 1991 and published by the Austrian Institute of Photography and Media Art (Österreichisches Institut für Photographie und Medienkunst), which she is directing as well. In this position, she is also responsible for programming the institute's own exhibition space (EIKON Schauraum) located in Q21/MuseumsQuartier Wien, the edition line (Edition EIKON), the publishing program in general and the realization of special projects. Jenny Lindhe, works as a curator and artist, educated at School of Photography, Göteborg University. She is a curator at Landskrona Foto and the Project Manager of Photo Book day at Landskrona Foto Festival. She is one of the founders of Breadfield and the publisher of Breadfield Press.

Gloria Oyarzabal Spanish artist photographer,Bachelor of Fine Arts(UCM).Programmer&co-founder of Independent Cinema "La Enana Marrón"Madrid(1999-2009)dedicated to author,experimental &alternative cinema.Lived 3 years in Mali researching on the construction of the Idea of Africa,processes of colonization/decolonization,neo-colonizing tactics and African Femisnisms.After her Master in Blankpaper School of Photography(2014-15) her work has been shown at FOTOFESTIWAL Lodz(Poland),FORMAT(Derby,UK),Lagos Photo(Nigeria),PHOTO IS:RAEL(Tel Aviv),Athens Photo(Greece),PHE PhotoEspaña(Spain),Thessaloniki Museum of Photography(Greece), Bitume Lecce(Italy),Encontros da Imagem Braga(Portugal),Voiess Off Arles(France),Odessa Photo Days(Ukraine),Organ Vida(Croatia),Kaunas Foto(Lithuania)...among others.

In 2017 she's selected for the artist residence Ranchito Matadero Nigeria/Southafrica, facilitating the research on the positioning of the Nigerian woman in our days after the colonization of the concept of women.

Holly Roussell is a curator, museologist, and art historian specialising in photography and contemporary art from East Asia based between Switzerland and China. Since 2021, she is a curator with the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing. Roussell previously served as coordinator of both the worldwide travelling exhibitions program, and the photography prize, the Prix Elysée, for the Musée de l'Elysée from 2013-2017.

In recent years, Roussell has curated major group and solo photography exhibitions for institutions around the world including: Folkwang Museum, Essen (DE); UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing (CN); National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (AUS) ; MUCEM (FR) ; MMCA Gwacheon, Seoul (KR); Fotografiska (NY/SE) and Les Rencontres d'Arles among others.
